This page explains our position clearly: Queer Compass does not use cookies on the public site for advertising, behavioural targeting, visitor analytics, Google Analytics, remarketing, profiling, or similar tracking.
1. No advertising or analytics cookies
We do not place advertising cookies on your device.
We do not use Google Analytics or similar analytics cookies to measure site visits, build audience profiles, or track user behaviour across pages or sessions.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies, remarketing tags, or ad-tech scripts to follow users around the web.
2. No cookie banner because no cookies are used
Because we do not currently use cookies or similar tracking technologies on the public site, we do not ask visitors to accept or reject cookie categories.
If that changes in the future, we will update this page and introduce whatever notices, controls, or consent mechanisms are required by UK law.
3. Payments are not taken through the website
Queer Compass does not collect payments through public website forms, shopping baskets, or online checkout tools.
Business payments are handled offline through emailed invoices and normal business payment arrangements, so cookies are not needed for checkout, cart management, or online payment processing on this site.
4. Forms are separate from cookies
The site may still collect personal data that you actively submit through web forms, such as listing claims or advertising enquiries.
That kind of data collection is covered by our Privacy Policy, not by cookies.
5. Our standing policy
It is our standing policy not to use cookies for advertising or the collection of visitor data through tools such as Google Analytics on the public site.
If our technical setup changes in a way that introduces cookies or similar storage and access technologies, we will update this page before or when that change goes live.
6. Contact
